Best Places to visit in Bangalore

There are multiple reasons that lead to this blog about Best places to Visit in Bangalore . But the major of them is that I understand the pain of a traveler. The traveler who travels miles with clothes, comestibles, camera and what not in his bag. He travels this far to see something that he usually does not in his normal life.

Someone from Bangalore travels across on bike to witness one of the Famous Places in Bangalore and finds out that the place is closed because of some reason. How would you feel if you go through the similar situation ?
Thus, this blog came into existence. So without further a due, lets start the journey. Hope you are going to like the information provided here.

Nandi Hills

4/5
  1. Place Ratings:If you ask anybody then the first thing comes out of anyone’s mouth is Nandi hills and that makes it one of the best places to visit near Bangalore. Its a good place to visit on bike.
  2. Distance from Bangalore: 65 KM far from Bangalore, in chikkaballapur district.
  3. How to travel:  Two wheeler or Four wheeler. Two wheeler is preferred because its too crowded once you go up on the hills. Its rather convenient to go on bike than in a car because you gonna find a long queue on the entrance of Nandi Hills. Thus, a bike is pretty handy here.
  4. Things to put on: Jeans and a jacket to cover your body. As people visit Nandi hills to see the sunrise, thus you have to shield yourself from the morning’s cold weather.
  5. Things to carry:  Just carry a jacket to contain yourself against the cold.

  1. Place Ratings:  Its one fun place to be at and One of the Best places to visit near Bangalore. Not for guys with weak heart though and even the guys with acrophobia should stay away from this place.
  2. Distance from Bangalore: 50 km from mysuru road, 53 km from NH75 and NH48 route.
  3. How to travel:  Two wheeler or Four wheeler or whatever suits you well. BMTC and KSRTC bus services are also there.
  4. Timings : 11.00 AM to 7:00 PM. Either you can book the tickets online or you can purchase on spot. There are two kinds of tickets there. One is normal and another one is fast track. Please click here to book tickets.
  5. Things to put on: If you are on bike then something to cover your arms from getting tanned. Put on whatever you like.
  6. Things to carry: You will get whatever you like there itself but on overpriced rates. So better you carry extra clothes and extra pair of under garments.
  7. Things to do: Enjoy the rides, rain dance and water waves, and yes don’t forget the roller coaster ride.
  8. When to visit: Any day.
  9. Best Location to stay with pros and cons: Wonderla has resorts there itself. But those resorts are costly so you can find decent  hotel to stay in Bangalore itself.
  10. Things to keep in mind: Just carry a a nylon short and t shirt with yourself because they don’t allow people with shirts in water rides.
  11. Local things to try:  Just enjoy the rides.
